PROGRAM OVERVIEW In a narrow sense, Electronic Commerce (EC) refers to the business transactions conducted worldwide through the use of electronic tools such as the Internet including telegraphy telephone radio, television, fax, computers, computer networks and mobile communications. It is based on the computer network of various business activities including those of goods and services providers, advertisers, consumers, intermediaries and other related activities. E-commerce people generally understand refers to the e-commerce in the narrow sense. In a broad sense, the e-commerce originates from the electronic business which is a business transaction activity carried out by electronic means.
